New bed

Santa brought Gabe a new Elmo bed set for Christmas.

We set it up a few days later and took the crib apart.  Since then Gabe has been sleeping in his new toddler bed.  When it is time for bed, we close the door and put a baby gate accross the threshold so he cannot leave his room.  He usually gets up once (sometimes twice) before staying in bed.  He opens the doors and peeks his head out.  Then I have to put him back in bed (again :), say 'night night', close the door and leave.  This usually does the trick ... but sometimes we repeat the process twice before the little guy falls asleep.
