Merry Christmas

What a great Christmas!  Christmas Eve we had a "scottish celebration" with Dave's family.  We had cock-a-leekie soup, biscuits, beef stew, turnips ("neeps"), black bun, and an assortment of  scottish cookies.  Then the grand kids opened their presents from Grammie and Granddaddy and then we opened our presents.  As always, it was "good times."

On Christmas day, we slept in, then got up, had monkey bread, and opened our presents.  Dave got a computer for Gabe and Gabe loves it.

Dave and I got a Wii from his parents and we got each other a couple of games to play.  I enjoyed playing tennis against the computer.  My right shoulder was sore today.

After we opened out presents, we took Gabe and the dogs to the park and played in the snow.   In the evening, Dave's parent's came over and we had polish food from Polana for dinner.  It was yummy.

Today, we relaxed ... Gabe played with his toys and his computer ... then in the evening, we drove to Thankgiving Point to see christmas lights at the Electric Village.  Afterwards, we stopped at Cabelas so Gabe could see the animals.
