Baby teeth

Gabe's teeth are coming in in an unusual order. First, he got his two middle teeth on the bottom (central incisors). That was expected. Then he got two on top, but not the middle two (central incisors), but the two right next to the middle ones (lateral incisors). So for a while, Gabe looked like a little vampire. Finally, I think around 11 months, his top central incisors came in. Now he is getting his first molar (upper right). It is coming in right on time, but ... Gabe still only has the central incisors on the bottom and so far, no sign of the lateral incisors coming in. The new tooth, though, explains all the drooling that Gabe's been doing lately.

UPDATE 4/6/09: He is getting two molars on top and at least one of his lateral incisors on the bottom. No wonder he has been cranky lately.

UPDATE 4/7/09: Today I noticed that Gabe is actually getting four molars ... two on top and two on the bottom. I can also see one lateral incisor poking through on the bottom, but I suspect the other one is on the way as well.
