we are in trouble

Yesterday i went to check on Gabe after he woke up from his nap and he was standing in his crib. Thank goodness that he didn't fall out. Today, as i was lowering his mattress I put him on the floor to play and he crawled (not very well mind you) towards me. So, now we are going to have to clean the carpets and child proof the house in a big hurry. Also, putting Gabe to bed is going to be more of a challenge ... he can stand up in his crib but he cannot get down yet ... at least not safely. Thank goodness for the helmet.
