Virginia Visit
For some reason, I have had a lot of trouble with this post ... but finally ... here it is --

On Monday, I got up early and took a long walk on the beach. Tom caught up with me a little later and we did a little yoga and stretching together, then I walked back while Tom continued his "exercises." Later in the day, Patrycja and Eric came over and we took Gabe for another walk on the beach. In the evening, we all gathered together for a crab leg dinner. Then it was time to have some laughs ...
September 17 through 23, we visited my family in Virginia. It was Gabe's first trip to Virginia. Although he was sick (with a cold) the whole trip, he did great. We arrived Wednesday evening after a whole day of travel. Patrycja & Eric met us at the airport. Eric helped Dave get the luggage, while Patrycja and I enjoyed Gabe. Then we all made our way to Dad's & Rhonda's. We had a nice dinner and talked for a while. Then it was time to go to sleep. On Thursday, we hanged out at Dad's and Rhonda's. Patrycja brought us a great lunch from a local "bread shop" and we visited for a while. Then she had to go back to work. Friday, Dave drove to OBX, while Gabe and I hanged out with Patrycja and Nana Rhonda.
Nana Rhonda teaching Gabe how to sit on a jetski :)Later in the afternoon, we packed up and went to Patrycja and Eric's. They have two doggies - Marley and Kaya - and two cats. Gabe was a bit scared of the dogs, so we had to keep a close eye on them. When it was time for Gabe to go to sleep, Patrycja made arranged a couple blankets on the floor in the office and stacked pillows all around. At first Gabe wasn't sure about sleeping on the floor but eventually he fell asleep. Jakub (Kuba) flew down from Boston to visit too. Dad and Rhonda picked him up from the airport and brought him over to Patrycja & Eric's. My "little" brother is no longer "little."

On Saturday, Sebastian, Kathleen, Marissa, Kathleen's parents, Tomasz, Patrycja, Eric, Jakub, Dave and I went to King's Dominion. The whole park was reserved by the company Kathleen works for. But it was still quite busy. We had a great time riding roller coasters and other rides. Our favorite coaster was The Volcano. We also liked the Drop Tower .
On Saturday, Sebastian, Kathleen, Marissa, Kathleen's parents, Tomasz, Patrycja, Eric, Jakub, Dave and I went to King's Dominion. The whole park was reserved by the company Kathleen works for. We spend the afternoon on the beach ... relaxing, playing valleyball, riding jetskis, eating, and enjoying each others company and the wonderful day.

We returned to SLC on Tuesday. It is good to be back home ... but we miss everyone.
